The Everest Panorama Trek is a short and easy trekking route that offers breathtaking views of the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest. This trek is perfect for those who want to experience the beauty of the Himalayas without having to commit to a long and strenuous trek. The trek takes you through the picturesque villages and valleys of the Khumbu region, providing an insight into the culture and lifestyle of the local Sherpa people.
As a Short Everest Trekking option, this trek is ideal for those with limited time or who are new to trekking. The trail is relatively easy, with only a few steep sections, making it accessible to trekkers of all ages and abilities. The highest point on the trek is Tengboche, which is at an altitude of 3870 meters, providing stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and other surrounding peaks.
The Everest Panorama Trek follows an easy Everest Trekking route that passes through lush forests, rivers, and suspension bridges. Along the way, you will have plenty of opportunities to take in the stunning views of the Himalayas and experience the warm hospitality of the local people.

Everest Panorama View Trek is an easy way to reach to the lap of the Everest, it lets you being so close to many mountains like Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Nuptse, Mt Lhotse Shar (8393m), Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Tawache, Mt. Ama Dablam (6812m), and many other small peaks & glaciers. Sagarmatha National park, Namche Bazar, a capital city of Sherpa ethnic group in Nepal, Tyangboche Monastery (3870m), milky water of Dudh Koshi River, many suspension bridges on stream and rivers, loaded with Buddhist prayer flags and through thick rhododendron (National flower of Nepal) forests are other attractions apart from mountains.
The journey starts from Kathmandu with 25 minutes fly to Lukla, a door of Mount Everest region and ends from Kathmandu, returning back from Lukla. Please, feel free to contact us for more information in detail.
Detail Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.
- A representative from Shepherd Holidays will pick you up from Airport and transfer to your hotel, You then will meet your trekking guide at hotel, you now can recover from your long journey taking a rest in the hotel.
Fly to Tenzing Hillary Airport in Lukla (2840 Meters) and trek to Phakding (3 Hours of walking)
- Early in the morning, we catch a flight to Lukla from the Kathmandu domestic airport. We enjoy the incredible mountain views during the short flight. After landing, we begin our trek full of excitement. After passing picturesque Sherpa villages, their fields of crops, and many monuments toward Tibetan Buddhism, we see a spectacular view of KusumKanguru just as we arrive in Phakding. Overnight in a guest house.
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 Meters) about 5-6 hours walking
- After breakfast, we head to Namche Bazaar. The path leads us across several suspension bridges, while enjoying spectacular views of Thamserku. Following the DudhKoshi River bank, we reach Monjo and officially enter Sagarmatha National Park. We continue along the river bank and eventually ciimb in altitude. We cross the highest suspension bridge of the Everest region, and again trek higher. We catch our first peek of Mt. Everest and continue to Namche Bazaar. Overnight in a guest house.
Acclimatization day! hike and exploration Namche Bazaar
- Today is our acclimatization day. We must take time to let our bodies adjust to the difference in altitude, as the air is thinner here. We take a short day hike up to Sagarmatha National Park Museum and Khumjung Village. From the museum, we can see a perfect view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, AmaDablam, and many more Himalayan peaks. Afterwards, we explore Namche Bazaar, a major trade center in the Khumbu region, densely populated by Sherpa people as well as trekkers who have finished or are preparing for the various Everest region treks. There is much to explore in the streets of Namche Bazaar. Overnight in guest house.
Trek to Tengboche (3870m) – 4-5 Hours
- We descend to the banks of theDudhkoshi River, passing through charming villages along the way. After, we ascend for two more hours through mixed forests to reach the small village of Tengboche. The village is also home to the famous TengbocheGomba.Located at 3867m, it is the largest monastery in the Khumbu region of Nepal. We can check out the Gomba and enjoy the panoramic view of the Himalayas, including Tawache, Nuptse, Lhotse, AmaDablam, Thamserku and Everest. Overnight in Tengboche.
Trek from Tengboche to Kyangjuma (3570m) —4-5 Hours
- From Tengboche, we make a steep descent of about 500m through rhododendron bushes and fir trees again to the DudhKoshi River. We pass Tashinga and Sansa villages before reaching Kyangjuma. We get to appreciate spectacular views of AmaDablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest. Overnight in Kyangjuma.
Trek from Kyangjuma to Monjo (2840m) – 4-5 Hours
- After breakfast, we make our way to Monjo, passing through Namche along the way. Passing the beautiful alpine forests, we descend through several bends. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as mountain goats, snow leopards, musk deer, etc. A steep descent takes us to a bridge over the DudhKoshi River. We cross the river twice at separate locations before reaching Monjo. Overnight at guest house
Fly out from Lukla to Kathmandu
- We have breakfast and then walk to Tenzing-Hillary airport and fly back to Kathmandu in the morning, enjoying the scenery during the flight. We’ll have a celebratory dinner in Kathmandu in the evening. Otherwise, the rest of the day is yours. Overnight in hotel.
Sightseeing in Kathmandu
- After you take breakfast, we’ll brief you on our upcoming adventure and then take you on a sightseeing tour around Kathmandu, including several UNESCO World Heritage sites. You can spend the rest of the day preparing for your upcoming trek.
