Kathmandu and Around Tour

Your itinerary for this tour starts with your arrival in Kathmandu at the TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport). During your arrival, you will get one of our office staff waiting for you at the arrival section carrying a template with our logo and your name over it.

After you get introduced, follow the instructions and the directions as of what is given by our staff and we also recommend you to ignore the offers and the deals which you will get flooded to you by several agents and drivers. It will help you to avoid any scams or unwanted expenses over unwanted services. You will be escorted to the hotel thereafter and you will get your hotel check-in.

After you get your hotel check-in you can have some time for your refreshment and for some personal time within your hotel room.

In the evening you will get a very vibrant roaming around Thamel market. It consists of restaurants, bars, clubs for the nightlife handicraft shops, clothing shops, and many more which offer you locally crafted products. Option: Morning mountain flight

The second day of your itinerary will get a bit diverse with the sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley. It starts with the early morning mountain flight as an option for you to make your stay more memorable, which takes you to the parallel view of Mt. Everest. The spectacular view offered by this flight made it one of the most scenic flights in the world. The view covers the majestic scenery of the mountain range which includes some of the highest mountains in the world, Mt. Everet, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Makalu, and the following range.

After returning from the flight, we will begin the sightseeing tour from the monkey temple also known for its name of Swayambunath Stupa. There you will get to see the sacred site for Buddhism and Hinduism with the stupa offering the panoramic view of the whole Kathmandu Valley located on a small hillock at the side of the valley.

The Kathmandu Durbar Square popularly known as Basantapur will be the next move in this sightseeing program. The old palaces and the temples around there hold important events in the history of Nepal that shaped modern Nepal. The monuments and the infrastructures can be seen which were built in ancient times and in the recent historical timeline. In there at Basantapur the local market also offers you the souvenir and the locally crafted stuff to be taken as a token.

Thereafter, the sightseeing at Pashupatinath Temple will be another amazing site to witness during this sightseeing tour as you will get a glimpse of the unique culture of burning dead bodies with specific rituals. Patan Durbar Square is another heritage site with the intense historic and the heritage monuments. The highlight of the area is the stone carved temple of Krishna Mandir. The Patan museum in there offers you the collection of old artifacts and the paintings having different historic backgrounds.

Option: Hike to Changunarayan Temple

At this moment, you will at the third day of your itinerary for the Kathmandu Valley Tour. The day will start with the drive to Nagarkot for the early morning sunrise view as Nagarkot is itself popular for the stunning sunrise and the panoramic view of Kathmandu valley from the distance and the magnificent scenery of mountain peaks.

The sunrise will be a memorable moment for you as you will be witnessing the sunrise glowing on the snowcapped mountain peaks scattering the light and making the day glow within the minutes of interval. It is an experience in itself to witness such an event in a row.

The place is also very famous for the local cuisines and the luxury stays near the valley. You can try out and hunt for the dishes which are available at the moment and we will move to the Bhaktapur for the sightseeing tour.

From here you will get an option whether to go hiking up to the Changunarayan temple or the tour to the Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

In detail, the hike to the Changunarayan Temple offers you a nature walk inside the dense forest of Nagarkot and a very scenic walk across the hill. The hike which you will get in there is itself a sensational short hiking destination near the Kathmandu Valley.

The tour to the Bhaktapur will be at the Bhaktapur Durbar Square where you will get a sightseeing tour to witness the 55-window palace and the 5-story temple of Nyatapole. There you will also get to roam around the vibrant and organic market vibe of the valley.

After the hike or the sightseeing, you will be transferred back to the hotel in our private drive. After you return to the hotel you can have your refreshment time or can also have the experience of Nightlife in Thamel before your departure.
